On the 15th March, Marimeter JSC from St. Petersburg organised a workshop in St. Petersburg. The workshop was a combination of QINSy and Fledermaus from IVS3D. Both software packages showed the ideal processing flow using a bathymetric data set.

Around 50 participants came to the workshop, which made it a huge success.

It was the first combined workshop between QPS and IVS3D after the announcement of the merger of the two companies.
The news about the merger was well received in Russia, all participants were very enthusiastic about this and saw lots of benefits for them as well.

We would like to thank Marimeter JSC for the excellent organisation and we hope that such an event will be organised also in 2012.
