QPS supporting ENSTA's Lake Guerlédan 2016
QPS are proud to be supporting the 2016 ENSTA Lake Guerlédan project.
Please find attached ENSTA press release and below is a translation of the opening paragraph;
On October 17, 2016, ENSTA Bretagne will transform Lake Guerlédan into a full sized laboratory dedicated to hydrography and marine robotics.
Ensta Bretagne is preparing a field camp at Lake Guerlédan for students of hydrography and marine robotics.
Never have these two areas been united within the same educational project and as a full-scale nature experiment that promotes the acquisition of skills.
For the subsea professionals who participate in the project, an open air laboratory is created in the heart of Bretagne which is conducive to innovation.
The objective is to facilitate monitoring of the underwater environment and its coastal areas. To successfully integrate autonomous under water vehicles in the hydrographic surveys as a future method of wreck / structure inspection and environmental monitoring.
