QINSy, Qimera & Fledermaus Training 17th - 21st October 2016
There will be a QINSy, Qimera & Fledermaus Training course at the Banbury, UK or Zeist, NL office October 17th - 21st 2016.
This training curriculum is for the QINSy, Qimera and Fledermaus workflows. The focus of the training is on Multibeam bathymetry, using QINSy to set up a system to go online, using Qimera to process your bathymetry data and using Fledermaus to process backscatter, watercolumn and create products.

QINSy Release 8.14
There is a new QINSy release available for download from our website for clients with a valid Annual Support agreement. Please study the Release Notes before installing the new version. In case you have difficulties downloading, please do not hesitate to contact us.
New features have been added for online and offline use within QINSy. Here are some highlights of QINSy 8.14.
Cable Catenary Support
QINSy's biggest new comer is the Cable Catenary support. The touchdown location of a cable can be calculated based on the cable departure angle or a tension. In addition the bottom tension, minimum bend radius and the Flop Forward position are calculated. The as laid position can be stored for reporting.
For advanced catenary functionality where material properties, complex multiple cables needs to be taken in account, QINSy offers the integration with OrcaFlex from Orcina.
USBL Calibration Utility update
The utility now supports a calibration with multiple beacons/targets. Per database the Easting, Northing and height of the target can be set or selected from a fixed node in the database; option 'Copy from node'.
QPS QINSy added new drivers or updated existing drivers, there will be detailed information on our release notes about these drivers.

Processing Manager - New Start-Up dialog
The Session Launcher is the first dialog when starting the Processing Manager. The main purpose of the session launcher is to load some file types of the project faster.
Export fix tracks
New functionality has been added to the Processing Ribbon Tab - Edit - Export option. It is named 'Fix Track' and can be used to export tracks, fix points and fix numbers from a *.qpd file to a *.qgf file.
This file can then be shown as line data in the Plan View of the Processing Manager or in the online Navigation Display.
