Jan 2012 - Free QINSy / Fledermaus workshop + training US
We at the new QPS-US invite you to join us for our first US workshop to be held in Houston, Texas on January 17, 2012, to be followed by one day of QINSy training on January 18th and one day of Fledermaus training on January 19th. The workshop and training will be held at:
MDL - QPS US Office, 17555 Groeschke Road, Houston Texas
The free workshop will provide an overview of the new QPS product line including QINSy and the Fledermaus suite; the new QPS toolbox allows for a seamless workflow from acquisition through processing, editing, validation, and visualization. We will also discuss the partnership between QPS and Esri, including a review of the current integration between the software products as well as future development – specifically the work under way to better support the Seabed Survey Data Model (SSDM).
There will presentations by existing clients in the region on their use of QPS line of products, from survey to presentation. Coffee, lunch, and a post-workshop social will be provided for all attendees.
In addition to the free one day workshop, QPS is offering two days of optional free training for workshop attendees following the workshop. On January 18th, QINSy data acquisition and processing techniques will be reviewed and a pipeline inspection survey will be used as a case study. On January 19th, we will offer hands-on training focusing on the functionality of the FM Viz4D and FM Offshore bundles of the Fledermaus suite, including data import, pipeline planning, visualization techniques, and product creation. Data sets and licenses will be provided for the training sessions, and there will be time each day for questions and discussion.
